Call & Consult
Every client we advise is walked though our step-by-step consult process to determine what their needs are and how we can best assist them. Every online or phone consult is combined with a simple deck questionnaire designed to create the best client experience.
Items covered by the questionnaire are:
Design & Planning
Designs will be sent to the client on the scheduled day of design delivery. Clients will then have an opportunity to review the design and make necessary tweaks i.e., (colour changes, design changes, material substitutions, etc.). Once the design is finalized and pricing confirmed, Blue Chip will schedule and plan the project.
Meeting & Measure
Once the clients have a rough idea on what they want and need for their project, an in home meeting with the client and a Blue Chip representative will be scheduled. Clients will provide photos, colour schemes, design wants and needs, etc. The house and yard will be measured properly to make sure that the backyard project fits the client’s living space. There will be some light literature provided and an email date booked for the design delivery date.
One week prior to building, the client will be notified via email that building material will be delivered and that crews will be arriving shortly. The construction timeline will vary, depending on the project complexity and size.
* Blue Chip Decks does not stop working on a project until construction is completed (special order items and back orders are exceptions to this rule)
After construction has finished the client’s yard will be cleaned and returned to its original state. The client will then have a final walkthrough with their Blue Chip lead carpenter on the job. Finally, the customer will be met by a Blue Chip representative to finalize the job and to offer a thank you for hiring Blue Chip Decks.
